Is there anyway to link to steam account for game, or atleast change user name on forums to match in game name?

let me guess, every time you're going to post something you see a short notification, that your post has to undergo moderation first. right?

No, it did that the first time I ever posted on here but has not since then.

i think you're still on moderation, because you're still listed as "Member" (just below your supposed-to-be photo) instead of "Beta-tester"
once a forum admin approves your full-fledged membership, you'll be able to change your nickname
